@nomy
W800 seems to work ok with SEUS, it's the K750 that gets a communication error when updating to R1AA008 at the moment.
I honestly don't understand how SE managed to mess things up AGAIN after all the problems people have had with SEUS before ... don't they ever learn?

I got the same error on my K750 but the phone is flashed and works fine.
Wonder what this is, HL1_dummydFS_000000_0000_R1AA008

I have R1N035 and I can search using multiple characters in the phonebook - 10 characters to be exact!
some EU region firmware have the multiple phonebook character search long time already... for Asia all version do not have multi character search since T610
Not all asian versions, most of them mainly china and indonesian, singapore. Not for India, Australia and other versions.
Are you saying that Australia f/w version support "multiple phonebook character search "? But does Australia f/w support chinese character?(I meant for messaging) .. I hope can have both.

I'm from India and recently updated the firmware on my W800 to R1NA005 from the SE India site and I got the "CHINA" firmware... i.e. no multiple character search...
IMO, to say that multiple character search cannot be included in the "CHINA" version of the firmware seems like a half-hearted effort from

Just upgraded my w800i to R1AA008 2 hours ago at SE service center. Havent notice any big changes except the multiple character search in phonebook.
WIll try to transfer some mp3 to my phone later and see its really solved the problem or not.

Damn it! Reading this thread, I'm getting quite afraid of flashing again my set.
I'll wait until R1ZZxx is out
It seems that the best advice is going to a Service Center for upgrading the phone and forgotting about using SEUS. But what about those guys that have the closer service center 200 km far away?
