@sleepyhead, you're in the wrong job! You should become an internet PI
I noticed the connecttion between e2save and theorder so I called e2save as well about stocks of the P990 - they had no idea about the P990 availability! Also CPW have told me they don't expect stock till mis August. I think we'll have to rely on Expansys for delivery this week/early next week and hopefully other sup[pliers will have stocks next week.

Hmmm interesting, well like you Jah im going to wait till tommorrow...although im tempted to email them to cancel the order now. But ill wait till tommorrow before i decide, guess ill just have to wait and see if you get yours tommorrow but i have this funny feeling that you wont and neither will i have the p990 tommorrow lol.

Oh well the countdown begins:D

PMSL what a bunch of jokers they seem to be, either they are lying or they got hold of some proto units which they are claiming they sold.

Anyways forget it, ive sent them an email asking them to cancel my order with immediate effect. Wont deal with such a rubbish company, my major niggle with them is that you cant even contact them via the telephone.

That was the one reason I decided not to order with them, although having said that Phones2udirect who I did order from over the weekend (and have yet to receive an order confirmation email) seem to be having (cough) phone issues since yesterday so are only contactable via email right now...

I rember the days when i had my trusty t68 (with firmware mod to t68i) waiting for the p800 to come out.

Looks like things havent changed one bit with people going crazy over thier next phone. must admit i was one of them too !!!

All i can say is hey chill out n let the phone come out when it wants to instead of raising our own blood pressures over it !!!

ciao for now !!!

I've been avoiding these pages as its just so repetitive

but... I just spoke with the manager of the local CPW who hasn't let me down yet and he said that CPW will be launching the M990 (and M600) ni September.

I also spoke to vodafone new sales and also vodafone upgrades and they have 21st August as their launch date and have zero stock, including what is visible as arriving in the next week... not that I would buy a branded one but I saw someone else here mentioned vodafnoe so I thought I'd check just out of interest.

I'm a bit ho hum about it all now and wondering why I would want much the same as I already have in the M600 but in a much bigger package.

I expect though, that I'll get drawn in when they are available, as usual...

That's the spirit masseur, get involved in all the ups and downs of P990 ownership (or lack of ownership I should say!)

It seems like the price in UK is a bit higher then it is in sweden. The price i have is about 600 euro with a monthly cost for about 20 euro (in 18 months) with I can use to call and so...

75£ a month seem pretty high!!

i am paying £25 p/m so don't know whether it will be free!!

If its cheaper on a new contract, then i'll just cancel the current one and get my pac code and do it that way...

thats if it's out by then

I reckon it will be about £400 on an existing £75 per month contract, I very much doubt there will be many deals to be had on new contacts either.

@Joel80
I pay £75 per month but get 1000 minutes inclusive a month and I use every one of them!
