P990 is a pure SE concoction - X1 is at it's core an HTC device - HTC handsets are usually quite stable, certainly not the problems that P990 had.
I would expect the X1 to be a lot less bug prone than the P990.

Hopefully, SE are still including the PlayNow panel with the X1. The PlayNow service is now active.
Here's an intro.

@djin and pinguino2,
May i ask what it is you would like an apology for, please?
I started my post with "Sorry Dogmann",
and ended it with
"It's just my imagination, so dont take it personally",
and
"Feel free to respond as you will. Its only words".
I am not on Esato all that often, and post very infrequently, so i was not around when Dogmann responded.
I do not, and will not take back what i wrote, and if Dogmann himself is offended, then i would like him to take it up with me personally.
I understand there are people here who do not read and write English as a native language, so i dont expect everyone to understand fully what is always posted.
I suggest the subject is dealt with by Dogmann and myself by PM, if he wishes, and the thread can get on with the X1.
Sorry to all for the off topic time wasted.

I think by the time X1 is out, SE will have to release some info about it's predecessor SE X2 (I want sex too)?
But bad jokes aside, I heard that xperia will be a whole line of mobiles, so we could expect an A200 (or maybe A300) xperia as well, but possibly never a UIQ xperia (atleast not without UIQ support for HSDPA surely)
thoughts?

I think for the time being, SE will probably run with WinMo, on the Xperia line. Probably the next one would be WinMo 7.
I just dont see them running with Android, and there would appear to be a long waiting game for the new Symbian.
I also dont expect the Xperia line to run feature phone software, not if they're aiming Xperia at the premium level.
Just my opinion, but what do i know? I'm just an ageing consumer.

Hey Max.. What a dilema:
Will you get the first one out?
Wait for the best?
Wait for the next... and the next and ...
Collect all of them?
But seriously, I believe that If SE put his act together, the industry and the public will have a line of X's to reckon with for years to come.
We haven;t seen nothing yet!
