Well I like the Sense Me feature as this also exists on the Vaio Media+ software.
I hope they don't forget to include A200 / A300 in their high-end strategy as it would be nice to have a choice - not everyone is so fanatical about touch - screens.

How are they improving there copy and paste phones? Se are the king of gimmicks, the W910 was soleley advertised on shake control, the C510 smile shutter, and sense me is overated as well
I like how people complain about copy-paste on one hand and then turn around and complain again about lack of AF cameras in Walkman phones and the likes.
Hypocrisy much?

Its is an intresting idea, but put into practice i cant see it ever becoming popular, also whenever i used sense me i found that the moods (happy/sad etc) were wrong for 50% of the songs, songs which sound happy wherent in the right area just because some songs are slow doesnt meen there sad etc

I would disagree a bit. I mean I listen to a lot of slow rock/metal songs and well it soothes me when in a depressed mood. I mean a lot of them that I listen to are put in the sad area. I am just pissed at how all my metal goes to the strangest areas. I mean they go into neutral and fast. Or sometimes even really happy and fast. A bit inaccurate but cool software nonetheless.

IŽd really like a kind of G900 successor. Preferably in an ultra-compact slider form factor, WQVGA is fine with me, 5 MP cam with lens cover, dpad and reasonable price. Should sell well, looking at the success of Nokias 5800 Xpress music.

I think there is currently a gaping hole in Sony Ericsson's portfolio...
Ie. no high end Candybar form phones.
Why is there not a K850/C902 successor?
I refuse to get a slider phone.
Someone must have news of something due to come out?

I don't know what SE is playing at with the release of the C901. It could have been a C902 and K850i successor in one, but they decided to give it very limited market availability which is extremely odd in theses economic times.
But what I think SE is doing (also due to the bad economy) is giving their phones longer market lives. For example the C902 (which appears to have sold very well) should have had a successor by now if we look at SE's recent phone update history, but it hasn't. I believe this is because of SE's poor recent performance and because they are struggling to make profit. Obviously if you are struggling with money, you're not going to pour a lot of it into development if you don't have to. The C902 still sells, so therefore why update?

That sounds like it could be true
But I don't get why they don't release the C901 in other markets, too. I think it could be popular enough and it'll be a pretty decent successor to C902, without making that much extra costs. It's already developped, so the only thing they have to do is do some advertising and marketing and they could have a hit.

I would definitely go for the C901 if it were available in the UK.
Grrr!

I may have to get one anyway...

...
+1 to the point about high-end candybars!
Funny how a 7-series slider can have WLAN also(a premium feature in dumbphones), yet not a bar device, such as C901, or even W902??
And to think SE were known as masters of the candybar, at one point......
