Is it possible to update FW from SE UK site instead of SE India (my local SE site) ... i.e. current FW on my W800 is CHINA version... can I update to EU1 etc. version by going to, for example, the UK site and initiating the FW update from that site

No one has posted here saying that they updated their K750 without getting the communication error.

This is the biggest screwup by SE so far!

how about w800? no problems with SEUS updating to r1aa008? do you have 3 files in C:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson\Update Service\software-data folder like we do with K750?

ok so people are getting the comunicatons error all, the time,

Im half tempted to do it anyway if it fixed the File transfer problems of R1N035.

after all the fuss, I tryed to update my k750i, and im already upto date with R1n035?

Im unbranded, EU1

I just checked SEUS but 4 my EU3 EMMA6 k750 it still says it is up to date.
