im on t-mobile uk but i'm having trouble finding an aim that works on it, i've tried jivetalk, nav4all amazegps so i've come to the conclusion that there must be something wrong with either my tcp settings or maybe people in the uk just can't use them. is there anyone who can help me out?
viigo and newsgator work fine so it cant be my apn / tcp settings.

OK so you're OS failed to update or it DID and everything went down the tubes?

* WiFi ... purge out your existing settings, ensure MAC Filtering on the WiFi Router is not a factor (if so RE-ADD ur 8120's MAC Address).
* Setup your WiFi settings from scratch; including the default browser.
* Messenger? Which one? GoogleTalk, MSN, Yahoo, AOL, or BB Messenger?
* Check the PINs to ensure their accurate or have NOT changed on the end user.

Lets start with this and work our way from there.

ah BB messneger is all sorted now! the OS upgrade did that, but wifi is still not playing game.. checked mac filtering on my router.. I think it's to do with the WPA2 Key i use. not sure my 8120 has the ability to do WPA2?

Oh it does, & should be able to.
check in Manage Connections> WiFi Options should be in or around there.
