benchmarking pre-production models is just pointless, in a prototype unit, every possible problems are encountered and even preventing the benchmarking software to run on the phone is possible. so why having a performance test if the phone software has not yet been finalized? this is just another degrading attempt against P1 imo.

hmmmmare the screens the same size between p990 and p1i? i think they are the same resolution at 240x320, but are they the same dimensions?

No not the same size. The P1's screen is a little smaller.

To anyone who's played with this phone, do you know how the mp3 player works? I noticed there's no play/pause button, or rocker switch for volume like on my k800, just the jog dial work like this at all? I use the mp3 player on my k800 a lot, this could be a pain if the P1i won't work like that...
