I havent been this excited about a phone launch for a long time...anyone else planning on getting the xz on day one? I m so excited I might even consider getting two since I cant decide between black or purple....
I sincerely hope this puts a huge dent into samsung, geez their phones r crap...my sister bought a gs3 a couple months ago and decided to go back to xperia... interestingly she mentioned that she felt it wasnt all that innovative...nothing other phones dont have...plus the phone just doesnt look as good as xperia s...
I personally think BE does make a difference, anybody that looks at the screen can tell. What I can't tell the difference n have trouble finding out is whats the difference between BE1 and BE2....Sony hasnt elaborated on this and I think their marketing team really needs to improve because I like to think I know lots about sony products and tech n generally read up on new tech...but the ordinary person will have no clue unless its shoved in their faces like those annoying gs3 ads that r everywhere...

Me too, I'm currently using Note 2 that I'll give to my wife when I can get Xperia Z... the only problem is that I'm already on contract that will end in April, and Xperia Z will be available in March according to Sony Mobile ME Facebook page... very quick considering TX isn't available yet
I was planning for White, but now I see Black is good also... but the headphone only comes in black so I think I'll take the judge when I see them in person

There's a difference between bravia engine and bravia engine 2. IMO bravia engine 2 looks better just look at the pictures
Right Bravia engine 2 Left bravia engine

Samsung fangirls are in full force, should mean Sony is doing something right. Can't stand brand slaves no matter if it's Apple Samsung or Sony. Seeing supposedly "grown men" like etaab getting all defensive over a piece of plastic is a joke to me. You'd think someone was talking about his family member the way he gets. Yet u call yourself mature right? Who you think your kidding.
On topic, Bravia Engine did work. Not sure about 2012 phones but on my old Neo all u had to do is take a screenshot with it on and off and there was no argument it comes to effect. But even so I still left it off.
Now are you deliberately trying to make yourself sound stupid ? Not once have I called anyone a fanboy, or fangirl - unlike you. So you're defensive and childish over your plastic. Neither have I referred to anyone as a troll or trolling - again like other members have said. So no, im definitely the mature one here whilst you are describing yourself and your own behaviour.
All I have done is see the Xperia Z's pros and cons. And simply because I mention those cons im guilty of what you say.
Sadly for you - and rather conveniently for me - you are wrong.
@ DACHA - whilst I assume part of Sonys infrastructure much still include some bad habbits and assets from Ericsson such as their supply chain, its their core business plan that is similar HTCs. Whilst releasing flagship phones more than once a year might keep your toe in the waters it also illustrates to the market and the experts you need regular income.
The problem last year with the Xperia S is they released it far too early and kept 2011 specs. Im not sure what figures they had back then but surely they must have known with those specs and HTC /Samsung being tight lipped until MWC or later in the case of Sammy that those rivals had aome pretty hot hardware / software ready to be unveiled. Its the same plan with the Xperia T and now the same with the Z. For all those who think the Z is a brilliant product please do answer my question only one person did whilst the rest skirted around the subject. What key or unique selling points does the Z have ? As a Sgs3 owner, which I love because of Android rather than Samsung I dont see anything that my phone does not have.

OMG see this

The Xperia Z could take over the No.1 spot any minute now

I've never seen anyone get this excited about GSMArena's rankings

do they actually matter? Do they translate to high sales and profit? Everytime i bother to look there its a different phone, a while ago the Lumia920 was at the top, and before that the 808Pure View AFAIK was up there, and at some point the GS2 whilest in reality the GS3 was selling hot.

Put it this way, from someone who is pretty unbiased and only dislike of this entire industry is Apple and their disgusting business tactics evwn though I like their products and love their designs
what is going to tempt Johnny Average from his iPhone / Samsung Galaxy / HTC ??
To me the Z is just another Android phone. Nothing stands out. Theres no USP.

And the same from Kitchen.
Childish.
@ randomuser - three million what exactly ? People reading the links or watching the videos ? Then I must be one of them because I usually watch all videos and read all articles. As do many other people. So what proportion of those people will actually buy the phone and more importantly keep it ?
