It always makes me nuts when they REMOVE stuff.

If you really need FM radio and phone connection you can buy this kind of bluetooth headset with FM Radio.

New software update for the XZ has just popped up on my phone, there's no change log so possibly just a security patch update.

Just tried the forest blue one in store. It's a thing of beauty that's for sure. So classy and elegant looking.

@mogoo,
Thank you

...

After using the phone for few days, I feel the phone is quite stable, well polished. Screen is finally up to standard. In fact pleasant to use. Fingerprint Reader is very fast. Good and loud speakers with deeper bass(compared to all the other Z series)
But standby battery is extremely disappointing. Earlier with full charge to discharge it would take 18 hours with minimal usage.
With the new update the battery estimate seems to be slightly higher, however will have to see how that equates to.
Continuous usage seems to be good, I managed to get 5 hours of onscreen time with 1.5 hours of GPS usage. There also seems to be instances where I noticed WiFi signal to drop while holding the phone normally. I will have to check more on this and maybe others with the phone could comment on these issues.

What I find a bit annoying is the tiny red light coming from over the display, not sure if this is even normal. Also I hate the fact that you can use either 2 Sims or 1 Sim and a micro SD. I haven't tested the camera much as I am not very into photography but the corner blur did seem to have been gone from the photos I took. Very good video stabilization, night shots could have been sharper though. .

Overall love the phone so far and highly recommend it. It's quite different to what you see in the images.

I will be getting my XZ tommorrow. I'll be sure to give my initial thoughts at some point over the weekend, after I have received a good play with it. I just watched a video on YouTube from Xperia Fan, where the XZ was pitted against the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, and the XZ was faster at opening most apps and games. Can't wait till tommorrow now.

^also.. XZ doesn't explode or smoke even after being shut off

my tracking info says my XZ has cleared customs and should be on its way to delivery.. can't wait! Hoping it comes early, but probably unlikely. Unless DHL delivers on Sunday or would allow me to pick it up on Sunday.

"Tiny red light over display"...are you able to capture that in a picture and show? I'm sure it would be hard since it's tiny...lol. thought I'd ask...
Or care to elaborate more on it.
Thanks in advance

Is anyone thinking of buying the SCSF10 cover style stand? It's very expensive, but looks very nice, and compliment the XZ very nicely.

just got my screen protectors. took a look at them. they don't look too bad. i wish they bottom speaker cutout had been cut out like the top one was instead of a notch. but we'll see. compared it to my z1 screen and it seems skinny. gonna go check the dimensions of the xz to compare but there's quite a bit left over on both sides.. so that concerns me. didn't realize the xz was much skinnier than the z1.

so seems like xz is slightly thinner. guess i'll find out on monday when it arrives! hopefully this thing will cover the entire screen surface. just needs to last til there is a better option out there. but it doesn't seem so bad. the fingerprint coating seems to work well. how long it will last is another story.

as of last update, it has been sorted and processed in NYC. doesn't seem like i'll be getting it early after all. shame. oh well.
