Snapdragon does not even offer 4k120 nor 6k30.
No way it jumps to 8K.
I have seen reports of X1 shutting cam app after recording for while.
Phones cant handle all that heat.
Not even Full Frame cameras.
Also it needs 32MP 16:9 (whick is about 42MP 4:3) these sensors work at 27 4:3.
Reason why those dont gain details at 40, 48 and 64.
This 0 matches the leak of months ago.

Well, I didn't say it'll be on S11 and with the 108mp one. The article talks about a possible future, it may not arrive soon and it might have a time limit but will eventually happen. Sony was the first to introduce 4K globally, the Exynos variants were not capable then. If this X0 camera setup is true and there's a non QB high MP sensor (you need more than 44 in 4:3), we might see it as soon as the end of next year. We still don't know the full specs of 865. There's also talk about Xiaomi's 8K. At this stage even 6K to 4K downsample would be great enough but I don't think all this talk is for no reason. 8K is coming sooner or later.
I know about the hexa cam leak but it was not named 0 back then.

According Androidnext :
Xperia 0 would be hexa cam + 5G + 5K screen.
Xperia 1.1 would be quad cam + 5G + 4K
Xperia 3 would be tri cam + 5G + 2K
Xperia 5.1 would be quad cam + 5G + 2K
10.1 to replace 10, with 5G
9.1 to replace 10+, with 5G
8.1 to replace 8 , with 5G (Japan only)
100 to replace Ace , with 5G (Japan only)
L4 to replace L3 with 4G.
If I am not wrong, midranges cpu with 5G are SD 7xx series and Mediatek.
I do not remember any 6xx that has 5G.
SD735 seems a strong candidate.

It means cpu can handle 30 photos of 48MP per second.
Not video.
855/855+ can do 4K60 HDR10.

What are the phones currently on the market that do 4K60 with HDR10?
Even when SoC allows it, I'm not sure if there are phones with camera sensors that support this.
Sorry for being offtopic, I am asking this so we can speculate about 2020 flagship camera capabilities.

Snapdrangon can do 4K60 HDR.
It is up do OEM to offer us the option.
Same way Sony does not offer 4K60 SDR.
Only Sony, Samsung and LG have 4K HDR, all 30fps.
Other did not have interest.
All these sensors can do 4K60.
Old imx400 can do 4K90 or 120, I dont remember.
Imx586 can do 4K90.
SDR or HDR does not make difference.
Tech sites are talking about 8K on S11.
Samsung said sensor can do 6K, they never said it can do 8K.
I highly doubt Exynos can do it. Every year exynos is weaker than Snapdragon.
That sensor is made to work at 27MP, oversampled to 108.
Reason you never see difference in IQ between both.
27MP 4:3, probably around 23MP 16:9. Not enough to record 8K.
If Xperia 0 is real, must have something not found on 1.1 and 5.1 ...
I guess.

OK, so what you are saying is there is no phone today that does 4K60 with HDR10. I hope next year's Sony phones provide this feature. The 8K thing is just an impractical marketing gimmick i.e. it will probably be capped at 1 min and it will consume too much memory.
