@samo_nz: Welcome mate. Where in NZ are you from? I am from Christchurch. I was looking at getting the K850i too, but in my opinion, the $999 price is not justifiable. I am instead looking at the W910i now, as the camera is not important to me.

Hahaha, nah I'm serious! I've decided, why get a phone with a 3.2/5MP camera which I will pay more for, when I have already just bought a new Cybershot Sony camera?! So yeah, I don't give a crap about getting a decent camera, I just want a cool new phone

Anyone noticed there's more new additions to the Vodafone NZ range?

Well, to start, the W880i has been removed from the VF online shop, and the W950i has been put back in, oddly. Plus they removed the V640i, which is presumably a mistake unless they are out of stock! I was at Northlands (my local shopping mall) today and saw dummies for the W910i, K850i, K770i and V640i and they all look really awesome. Can't wait to upgrade from my V630i next week!

Anyway, the additions are a few Nokias including the N81SD ($899), which I presume means it has an SD card (2GB). I like this phone, I think it looks stylish in that shiny black. Also the Nokia N95 8GB has finally hit our shores at a whopping $1399 (would you pay a $400 premium for black and 4GB?)! @carkitter, that N95 in your V.Box is looking even more likely!

I can't tell if any other Nokias are new or not as I don't check often enough. But I must say, I saw an N81 dummy today too, and it looks awesome, though I don't like the gaming keys with the symbols on them which are far too large

I think these Nokias and SEs are the extent of the additions to the VF range.

Enjoy.

Are you going to take along your V630i to the photography course? I wonder what they'd think of that!

My wife turned in some Flybuys points + some cash and picked up a 8.1Mp Sony Cybershot DSC-H3 digital camera today. Just waiting for the battery to charge...

Still nothing in the Vbox. With the N95 8gig at $1399, I guess the old N95 will maintain its $999 tag.

Has anyone tried Windows Media Player 10 with thier phone? Seems to work a treat! I much prefer this to iTunes.

Ooh, a DSLR! Nice. That should be better than most people's cameras at your photography course I'd expect! So what's it like? I bet it takes some excellent looking shots!

I'd say the N95 8GB won't stay at that price for long, it has to drop in price to sell, in my opinion. And when it does, the original will have to drop too... That's about the time I'd expect to see it in your V.Box!

Nah, I haven't tried WMP 10, coz mines a Mac and I don't use my Dad's Vista desktop or laptop often.

Getting a W910i next week!

It looks like a DSLR but it's not. Its better than a standard Compact camera but not as good as a DSLR. Sort of medium spec. Can't wait to try it though. Just loaded all the Cybershot photo management software - phew! The missus also splashed out on a 2 GB MSDP aswell. Next on the list will be my T650, I hope.

That sounds pretty nice, for me it's so annoying to wait for something to charge before trying it. I always want to turn it on and try it asap! I didn't even use the Cybershot photo software that came with mine, partly because Sony doesn't support Macs whatsoever, and partly because I don't feel I need it. The cameras work like a flash drive and I already have Photoshop. So what's the software like?

So the T650i is definite now? Where are you getting it? I've seen some really good looking pics of the phone on Esato recently... Jealous...

Yeah I've settled on the T650, subject to availability. I'll save up over the next few weeks and get it from E.I. if they get it back in stock. I'll go for the blue colour. It's much better looking than the K800i with similar spec and produces outstanding photos from what I've seen here on Esato. This should keep me happy until the 5Mp, Wifi equipped C902 is released!
