GPRS speed is really bogus on almost all networks.
I'm looking forward to a 3G network. Hope we'll be enjoying it in the very near future.
I usually use my PC-LAN on ma phone over
BT when i'm at home in my room.

@all ZONG's unlimited GPRS is here for both Prepaid and Postpaid only for 400/m without taxes
most amazing thing is that i have zong's EDGE coverage in my area so 17 KB shoud be the speed yeahhhhhhh.

i booked a zong-sim 2days ago but did'nt collect it so far.. so can't say abt the service but hope it will be good enough for calling&texting etc..

u said it should be 17KB.. (means it isn't) moreover 17KB means that it will connect at 136kbps which is not adequate speed for EDGE.
it should be in the range of 25-30 (>30)KB.

iam not sure which class of edge service they are providing, at telenor i recieve an average speed of 17KB/sec. so thats why i said atleast it should be like 17KB.
and yeah iam waiting for 3G too for like 2 years. today i read in news paper that they will auction the licenses at the end of this year and service will be started at the end of 2009 so we have to wait like 1 and half year.
