I think by the time X1 is out, SE will have to release some info about it's predecessor SE X2 (I want sex too)?
But bad jokes aside, I heard that xperia will be a whole line of mobiles, so we could expect an A200 (or maybe A300) xperia as well, but possibly never a UIQ xperia (atleast not without UIQ support for HSDPA surely)
thoughts?
Hey nice info there. Anyway if it is a new line of phones they should be all great. I mean a line of phones with different platforms ans OSes would be great. But let's hope that there will be UIQ X series phone one day.. haha

Going by some recent screen-shots and rumours in the 2008 portfolio thread, UIQ is preparing a new touch screen interface which may be UIQ 4. I'd almost bet money that it will have HSDPA support seeing as its 2008. So a UIQ Xperia phone doesn't seem too unlikely to me.

Yeah I have seen rumours too about the new UIQ user interface. There was some previews of the Beibei's UIQ 3.3 interface. Which seems to be faster than previous UIQ interfaces. And UIQ4 would be great, but it better not be buggy. Actually it would be very bad if it is incompatible with previous UIQ3 apps...

Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 will be the last Windws Mobile phone from Sony Ericsson !
http://msmobiles.com/news.php/7601.html
Howard Stringer (a Brit of Welsh origins) who is the first non-Japanese CEO of Sony - Japanese corporation after all - in latest interviews expressed doubts whether Sony Ericsson joint-venture will survive next few years, notably because cooperation between Sony (responsible for stylish design and user friendly ergonomics) and Ericsson (responsible for high-tech telecommunications) is not going so good as it was only 2 years ago...
So Sony Ericsson XPeria X1 phone may be actually the last Windows Mobile phone from Sony Ericsson and in future it may be called only "Ericsson XPeria X1" because is considering to withdraw from mobile phone market altogether.

I agree with Mizzle. Did you read the last line?
"In case you have doubts we can recommend HTC Touch Pro that is of similar form factor as X1, but is made by company that has rather bright future - unlike Sony Ericsson... "
Its just an article written by someone who doesn't even like SE, and probably knows nothing of the industry. You can also tell by their badly written article and completely awful looking website that it is not trustworthy information. It is complete bullsh*t.

SE's own website is now saying January.

Europe usually get phones a month (minimum) or more before we get them. So i guess oct-nov for there?
