Visited the mobile-review site and the M4410 got a big thumbs down even with all it's supposed funky features.

Yeah, and I missed this in the review earlier, when I was quickly scanning for the info:
"The presence of EDGE is not very interesting to the target group, the camera doesn't amaze with the photo quality, and the absence of normal video seems an anachronism."

So it's a case of all that glitters not being gold... @ Wanksta, was that pic taken when you borrowed the bike from your buddy? Unless i'm mistaken that's a biking jacket... Or are you a serious Wacko Jacko fan? :-]

@ Kryptik,
LMAO!!!
Nah,swaer,that is my all-bling groom's outfit.As I've mentioned before,I have a penchant for the unconventional...
As for Wacko Jacko, LOL,I may be a tad wacko, but I'm certainly no MJ fan,I'm very much into my nu-metal,as my hairstyle may have hinted...
Michael Jackson is as popular with me as Eugene Terre'blanche would be at a P.A.C. AGM.
This is more like it:

@amawanqa: Nice pics...that bike looks nasty.
The LG is not being considered after I read that review...all bling without any substance.

@ brix,
Agreed. The old stuck-up supermodel syndrome in an LG handset. One for the 'must try harder' category,if I was doing a report on the M4410!
Hmm,I'm now keen to see what mobile-review's verdict is on something like the 8800...
Just to completely digress, and I'm not sure if it has ever been mentioned here, have any of you ever visited
www.guduwap.net for free java games, gifs, ringtones, etc.?My nephews seem to be constantly visiting the site and downloading content.

@amawanqa: Yes, I've probably downloade a couple of games from there...there are many similiar sites...you get then through the magic that is Google. I'm wary of mentioning warez sites on here though.

I should have remembered that...I guess it shows my relative inexperience with such sites/matters.
Off-topic again, while checking out mobilefun's latest offers,I noticed that they have dropped the price of the Nokia 7710 again,in a relatively short space of time:
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/5547.htm
£289.95 sim-free/ unconnected (about R3400) for such a current, relatively up-market smartphone is not too shabby, not that I would ever be interested in getting one,as we discussed on here before.
Incidently,mobile-review's review on the 8800 seemed quite favourable, taking into account it's target market, excessive price tag, etc.

@amawanqa, my bad, mistook your jacket for avant-garde biking leather

Nice bike though.... The Kryptik One had been quite an enthusiast in days gone by but marriage and a daughter have proven adequate dissuasion given my knack for getting into trouble... I'd probably end up being road-kill sooner or later... Mind you, a two-wheeled vehicle makes sense given the current fuel price. We're becoming like Zim... Bob promised to put the country back on its feet, and he certainly has done so- everybody's forced to walk since fuel's too costly, when it's even available... @Brix, so which phone do you think will be your best bet?
