wow, just skipped three pages of worthless arguments. Can any mods delete or move those posts, and while I'm at it, mod this thread? this was supposed to be a rumors thread, not an argument thread, sheesh.

I'm not sure if it's because it's in Japan or whatever...
but a $900USD+ price for the GX? seriously? that's INSANE!

i couldn't afford that, nor would my love for Sony or need for a new phone let me spend it even if i had the money...

I sure hope the international version is a lot cheaper and doesn't lack any features of the japanese version.

Tech is typically more expensive in Japan when you covert directly.
Same with UK.
E.g. PS Vita is $250 in the US
Its ~£229 in the UK or ~US$350 when converted directly.
In Japan the Vita is ~¥25000 which is ~US$320.

All examples are at launch btw.

the images of the front leaked out before the pictures of the back were leaked.

^^ Ah I missed that it still has that touch sensitive buttons so it means this still is an old model produced alongside Xperia S and etc. are there any infos with the screen res? or RAM amount? it should have at least 1GB in order to use all ICS+ Sony UI features without slowing down

After looking at the images of mint in more detail i am pretty sure its going to a nice device... Have the feeling MR really try their best to make Sony's look bad. Same goes for the screen, he is a fan of over saturated amoleds which for me personally are painful to the eye.

I definately want to see some more images leaked and as with every Sony/SE design so far I am sure I will end up loving it Just hope it will be available soon as I really want to replace my Arc. Still praying (but not believing) for a metallic backover...

I do wonder since Sony is now running the show if the devices they design from the ground up will all have a similar heritage in appearance, or if they'll have a few different types of appearances they'll have like they do now? If info that was shared a while back ago on these various forums is to be believed, at least they should have fewer models out next year.

Xperiablog has mentioned that Sony Xperia J would have 512MB RAM.
