Could it be that the entire firmware is actually up on SEUS, just that there are too many of us Esato keenos around the world trying to update our phones at the same time?
Especially as the communication error happens at random places for different people, not at the same point for each update.

Don't people read here before posting anymore?
1. R1AA008 is available at SEUS for the K750 but only for the EU4 region!
2. The communication error doesn't happen randomly - everyone who has updated their K750 to R1AA008 using SEUS has gotten the communication error. At least everyone who posted here at Esato!
Hope that clears things out!

OK, point taken about the firmware being up for EU4, but so far in this thread we've had maggisam getting the communication error at 42%, serg at 51% and fraxos 'just before the end'.
I'm no mathematician, but that seems fairly random to me.
I think you misunderstood what I meant. Obviously everyone's getting this communication error, but it's happening at random times during the update process. Fraxos got the update error, but doesn't seem to be missing any functionality. Others have got the error & are missing GPRS or camera functionality of something random like that.

Same here... It stops at 51% and 7 minutes left. After a while I got the error message but the FW is there. Everything seems ok.
Unbranded K750

maybe the camera SW was supposed to be upgraded (from 4.5) and with the comunication error happening and the phone being half updated it (camera's SW) doesn't get updated.
it was the case with R1N BUT there, the camera's SW was halfway updated and thus unfunctional but now with R1A the Camera's SW update even doesn't start.
Do you have any ideas?

WARNING
As I said in previous post, After communication error upgrade, I tried to upgrade again. But the second time the phones graphics are all messed up. it seems that the basic functions still work (like ringing), but because the graphics are all messed up, then so are the keyboard functions. so even if the phone rings, then I can NOT answer it.
Some of the other users are complaning about loss of language and camera.
So my conclution is that: the futher you come in % then the more functiuons you actually get.
I only got to 42%, and others have posted 47% and 51%, this maybe explains why I am loosing graphic and others are only missing language or camera.
So, If the site dosent improve then I suggest to all that have upgraded to take theyr phones to Service center for upgrade. I Will early monday morning.

Something isn't updated completely, that's for sure. I don't think it's the camera driver. People who updated at service centers also have v4.5 of the driver so most likely it's something else.
Also, someone here stated that he thinks the firmware is completely updated and that the communication error message only is a glitch at the end of the update process. Here's why that person is wrong: I have three K750. All of them have gotten an alert from SEUS with R1N035 saying the firmware is already up to date. Now when R1AA008 is installed (with communication error) that doesn't happen. Instead, when I try to update, then SEUS still thinks the phone have an older (or incomplete) version than R1AA08 and tries to update to R1AA008 again (which brings out the communication error again).
So, if the R1AA008 firmware is installed correctly even though there is a communication error at the end, then SEUS would say my K750 is already up to date when I try to update again - and it doesn't! So the firmware is corrupted, not installed properly. All you people who think you're phone is fine - it aint!
I lost GPRS functionality. Others have lost languages and graphics, camera functions. It's pretty clear - the updater corrupts the firmware for sure. SE finally screwed things up big time

Noted the release of R1AA on SEUS for the K750 in EU4 on the first post.

It may be wise to put a warning to in the first post, that the k750i EU4 FW is corrupt on SEUS.
