Cant seem to find any info on the email client on this phone.
Im hoping its an improvement on the email client on the k800i
which has largely been unchanged over quite a few phones.

I'd love to get away from this "mark for deletion" approach where messages remain till you next poll.

any info or screenshots of email client would be appreciated.

it's the same e-mail client in C905 as in latest phones from SE.

sorry, to clarify do you mean its the same email client in the c905 as the k800?
if so thats a bit of a disappointment to be honest. Its about as basic as you can get.....

No it will mean the one from the k850, which has had minor improvements over the k800, I have had both phones and didn't use the email clients, but from the "test" email they give you there was definitely slight change UI

I guess the e-mail client is the same as in the K850, they've tweaked it slightly since then though, on my W980, theres a fullscreen view, like the web browser. Also, e-mails can be set to act like new events, appearing in the activity menu, which I find helpfull. I'm going to guess its like this version of the the client.

It should be the same email client from C702 & C902 I think.

Vodafone free to unlock (in Australia anyway), and 10 Euro's invested with Davinci will solve your branding problems. Don't let a measly 10 Euro's prevent you from the phone you really want

I don't like the DaVinci site. I could never find any reasonable instructions, or even how much each service cost. It just doesn't say. Wotan was much easier to use, but has limited models supported.

But then I have to truly ask myself, do I really want the C905? When you look at the other 8MP camera phones being announced, the i8510, Pixon and Renoir, the C905 looks almost stoneage in some of its specs.

It's tricky, because the only real reason for me to get the C905 is the UI, which is still by far the best of any other manufacturer. But when you see touch screens, and WVGA video recording elsewhere, the C905 starts to look more and more like the house brick some reviews say it is

That's because all the other phones you mentioned are of the Media Monster class a.k.a. the descendants of N95. If you think of C905 as a successor of K800 (which it seems so much to be), you'll see it in a different light. I myself think that it has its own market segment, because it obviously doesn't qualify as one of the Media Monsters.
