It's the SE EMMA website. There may be a clue when a new EMMA ( equal to SEUS? It may be, as the version number is identical..) client version will be released. A new client usually means new f/w is out for certain models. New EMMA version is planned to be out on March, 5. Anyway, this is just my humble speculation. It may be totally wrong. People with better info will know more. Just hope and wait, then...once again it's just my humble speculation..LOL.

My local SE svc centre (Singapore) mentioned that R1JC002 may still be unstable, hence they will not release it until it's further tested.
Yeah, like R1GB001 was tested and stable (remenber the video preview thing?) before giving it out... Are they kidding?

SEUS is part of EMMA because if you look at the version on that web page is identical to all version of SEUS. First digit (2) as EMMA ver.2, second (7) is year 2007, third digit (2) is month February and last digit is build number. So current is 2.7.2.5 (EMMA2 year 2007 February build no 5). Seems that they release new client (SEUS as well) once a month.
I believe there are several level of EMMA (as if you see the txt it said that there is fix problem with service card - I guess only service centre or site like wotan/kulan use this that enable to change language/complete reflash). SEUS is the just part of the EMMA system that only install latest firmware that it believe it has and only part update.
I do hope you are right. It might need new SEUS clients for new phone but I think releasing new firmware for old phone does not need new client. Unless they build the firmware infos on client (like wotan client?).
I am really no rush to update to R1JC. The only problem of R1GB for me is video preview crash but I can workaround it by simply choosing List instead of thumbnail. All my QVGA 3GP video works OK in R1GB.

Well, (edit) four obvious thing:
1. Video preview crash should be fixed.
2. New Java runtime (hope it fix my problem with Java dictionary at sourceforge)
3. New text again it seems?
4. Content upgraded to PA29 (don't know what this means)

Just updated my K800i via the Update Service in the phone to R1JC002. My phone is an EU4. Love how the high quality videos don't freeze during the thumbnail preview mode anymore.

Just updated a friend K800i to R1JC002 via Wotan, enabled AMR and reset total call timer. It was a success. But, I saw '99E0W' tag on the customisation info. I have seen '1E0W' but not this '99E0W'. Any info of it? I think it's just a matter of 3rd party flasher, but why is there a different version? Just tried SEUS and it works fine with the phone. Any idea?

Thanks, danielcps. BTW, I downloaded R1JC002 CHINA WI.wtm and APAC.wtf before running the client to save time. The .wtm is around 27 MB while .wtf is 16 MB. Then I placed them in Flash folder that was created by Wotan client. The client only downloaded FOTA, around 280 kb, and directly flashed the phone. Hm, 99 Errors? Which parts? And why NO warning. Just curious. As long as the phone works just fine, it's not a problem actually.

Here is what Wotan said about 1E0W : the string 1E0W is not an error, it just means that the phone has been enabled for all language groups, IE you can now flash differant language groups into the phone.
Have no idea how 99E, why don't you ask wotan?
