I feel this may be the case for now, the only device with no ID is PY7-PM084x, but it doesn't appear to be a new handset but instead a variant, since it is only one model, PY7-PM0841.

End of the month today and so far no other device on the FCC. Granted the new flagship might not go on sale right away in the US, perhaps a T mobile version like the previous Z3 (D6616) but even that showed up in late june on the FCC last year.

Edit, seems a new qualcomm SoC was introduced, the 616

I feel it might be the M5 with mediatek X10. Colour may be from a flagship, but it doesn't mean a higher end mid level device can't be gold either.

None of the teasers reveal enough to confirm this but as posted on the forums, no Z5 has hit the FCC yet and so far only 2 devices have, the C5U and E56xx (M5).

Besides that, the other phone probably to debut should be the C5 ultra. Unless something leaks, I feel it will, we will have to wait until monday to find out.

i doubt c5 ultra is waterproof , split-second implies imx 230 and gold color image with water droplets implies waterproof.

SD820 is going to be much better. SD616 is just slightly updated SD615 but still a midranger (Moto X Play should've got one). SD620 is going to be much faster as well.

This is why I said, the other phone to debut should be also the C5U, the M5 is probably what is pictured I feel. No idea on the 4K front cam. Would 13MP front cam be also a first?

Sony don't do teasers for mid-low end phones. When you have limited advertising budgets you spend it only on the big guns.
