@AYA, congrats to u too. So what is d connection speed like(of ur new line) compared to gsm gprs?

Much faster. Took me 2 hours to download a file via MTN GPRS, but had the same file downloaded under 20 minutes via CDMA. Add to that cheaper call rates (both to PTOs and GSM) and I am beginning to wonder why I stayed so long on the GSM platform

Aya, how much did u pay for the phone & how much per month for the internet service?
is there a monthly service charge like multilinks & how much?
Can u send SMS & use the phone internal browser for web & wap browsing like gprs?

The phone will be used basically for pleasure and just maybe, business. Using a 3650 at the moment,it's perpetual "out of memory" errors can be frustrating. The phone can barely handle softwares like profimail, doom and even opera browser!!! I kind of have a soft spot for pda-like phones like p900 or p910i.But again, is the price difference btw the two worth it? Read somewhere that the p900 can be flashed with the firmware for p910i making the p900 handle memory sticks of up to 1gb as against the present 128mb or so. The major problem i have with the N6630 is its proprietary dual voltage RS mmc, how available or affordable is it?

@Artwales, the n6630 handles up to 512mb mmc(rs) which can be sourced readily frm any fone house. I stay in Abuja, n here it's sold for N12k (512mb). Considering d Abuja price factor, u should get it 4 N10k tops in Lag. This message was posted from a Nokia

Try Omegatron at GSM village if ur in lag for mem. cards. But sharpen your bargaining skills before getting there.

@AYA: Thanks for the tip on your site BUT Im still having problems. I thot Vmobile's Vactive worked for those of us in areas without GPRS (sniff, sniff!!). Does anyone know how much the CDS connection rate is? Hope after struggling to get it, it wont break my wallet!!!

@Abubakar, i'll advise u to 4get about Vmobile CSD cos it will definitely crush ur wallet.. it's charched at voice call rate.
btw, is gsm village different from computer village or are they the same?

@Artwales, you don't need to consider N6630 at all cos P910i is much better, unless u need a better camera which is the only advantage of 6630 over p910i.
as regards p900 vs p910 & the price difference, i still prefer the p910 despite the 10k differerce in price cos it doesn't get the halfmoon crack at the sides of the screen like p900, they are both the same in all other areas except the QUERTY keypad which is kinda useless. if cash is an issue, go for p900 but if cash isn't a prob, go for p910, u wont regret it cos i havn't since i've been using mine..

I guess 910i is it then. Like with every phone, there's always mixed review. By the way, mamba, what's the audio output quality of the mp3 player of the phone?
