None of those phones appeal to me, 2 of them have no xenon, and I don't care for touch screens, I have no idea what specs you speak of because the C905 has everything I want in a phone.

That's great but I was talking about my taste and not yours.
As for specs just read some reviews about the Video Capture Quality, DivX support etc.

That's true for you and many other people, but some people dont need/want xenon flash and some people may want wm/symbian.

With multitasking of java apps and multimedia and messaging and an extremely efficient UI with many features usually only found on smartphones, A200 leaves it's competition, s40, for dead.
The only real advantage of s60 is that it has a better application platform, but if you only use a few basic apps, such as IM, Opera Mini, music players and file managers, then JAVA is more than adequate.
SO imho I question whether the C905 is really as uncompetitive against the i850 and others like it as people claim.
My guess is that a lot of people have never really used A200 to it's full extent, because they still perceive it as having the limitations of A100. My advice, is push it a bit harder. For example don't assume that like on A100, if you open a java app that the message you are writing will close (it will still be waiting for you to select it from the activity menu when you are ready to continue writing your message). Or another example, don't make the mistake of closing java apps when you need to do something else - hit the activity menu instead and select another task from your shortcut list. Your java app will be waiting on the activity menu until you need it again.
If A200 user's take time to get to know the flexibility of the platform they will be pleasantly surprised and won't be so sure anymore that s60 is that much better.

I couldn't agree more
Remember that i850 also costs 100 dollars more than C905, and the advantages are:
A bigger screen
Symbian
8/16 GB built-in + microSD
VGA recording
On the other hand, the advantages with C905 are:
Better materials + design
Xenon flash
And come on: C905 is only slightly thicker than i850, whereas the the latter a lot wider. I'm not saying i850 is a bad phone by no means. To be honest it is the best offering on the market as of yet

SE phones natively support divx if it is up to 320x240 and encapsulated in mp4.
Smartphone are better for video playback, it's true, but in a feature phone it's accepted that you have to recode videos to suit the device. If you do recode, then you can get quality that looks superb on the small display of a phone. Higher bitrates and resolutions are pointless.
Also why have a 1GB file taking up space on your memory card when you could have a 200MB instead? It will look just as good on the phone display.
Video capture
quality is fine, it's the resolution that is low compared to s60 high end phones. (qvga compared to vga). Just having VGA resolution is no guarantee of quality. Many people oohed and ahhed about the N95 VGA video capture, yet when you actually analyse the video closely it has pretty crappy encoding of movement and detail. A still or very slow low detail scene records brilliantly, but anything else is fairly mundane. Colour reproduction is also fairly normal.
People have to stop looking at spec sheets when making judgements about quality. Spec sheets never tell the whole story.
