Brady,
With O2. Phone was (slightly) branded but went through the WotanServer to RG... so effectively recognised as non-branded.
Your on 02 ?
How have you got the FOTA working ?
I'm on 02 and have been trying to update via FOTA for a while but it just keeps saying I have the latest software.
I've tried it using my 02 branded K800 and also my unbranded K800 but get the same each time.
I never got the FOTA to work in the past either when I was using my W810, W550, W850. All were sim free and no branding.
EDIT
He's right. Just tried it via SEUS and got R1G. Then tried using the FOTA and it worked for the very first time for me on 02. File size is 2962kb. Takes a while to download though.

A little help please!
I have a k800i with
"O2 Postpaid DE" R1ED001. I think it is a firmware for Genrmany by O2.
The italian language is supported.
But, I'm italian and i want a full italian k800i.
Can i use Wotan to update firware (the latest release) with an "Generic Italy" Firmware?
Thanks!

@ simbus82
If you use Wotan the firmware CDA you want is Generic Europe 5. That is the Italian firmware.

Differences between "Generic Trade Italy" and "Generic Europe 5"?

I just tried to update my UK branded O2 K800i using SEUS and it still says i have the latest version R1ED.
How did you manage to get yours to update?

One of my K800's are still branded with 02 firmware and still says its got the latest software which is R1D
My other K800 was 02 branded but I debranded it via Wotan a while ago when R1D was first released.
When R1G was released (Wotan and SEUS) The debranded K800 still wouldn't update via FOTA but has now been able to update to R1J using FOTA.

Just go to phone settings and update service then check update. You need to set up gprs first though.

My k800i doesn't have FOTA option in the menu. How can it be possible?
