I removed the Memorystick and removed the battery. Then reinserted battery and updated without memorystick in the phone.

Everything completed succesfully!

Funny thing though, phone still insists on only speaking English, even though I can type and stuff in Swedish and most other scandinavian languages.

Well, at least it seems there is hope!

But still only english. seems I have to visit a service point to get swedish back.

I'm not gonna pay SETOOL since it's SE's responsibility to release a new bug free F/W.
What does it really mean?????
the tought just makes me mad.
SE, YOU should provide me the new F/W and NOT davinci or setool BECAUSE i've paid 400$ to YOU and NOT davinci or Setool.

when i updated the first time i get comm. error at 47% but the little trick is that you have to take out the memmory card and the sim card
and then update, I just did that and it worked 100% i got Swedish language and and i tested everything and everything works just fine

I just updated to R1AA008 without a hitch. I removed the MS Duo card before, but I kept the SIM card. No communication error, swedish menues. Transfered one album (16 songs, 60mb), seems to work fine.

if you don't have only english menus after 100% OK, do a master reset and all languages will work. Just tested and OK
