I hate my job. So board cos theres no challange to it anymore. I've learnt everything I need to and more. Getting fed up cos I'm the only one out of like 70 staff that can go to any of the 4 centres that the council operates and assume any role/position and do a complete shift. No body else is willing to be trained to do it and I cant take anymore 70-80 hour weeks.
They're goin to be stuck when I start this teachers course next friday. The only downside to doing the course is that they'er already lining up classes for me to teach which means even more of a workload
My manager has also told me that I'm to be sent to university at Loughborough to do a management qual starting in November. Theres a uni just up the road from me (a lot closer than Loughborough) running the same course but because it like £30 dearer I cant go there. If I gotta go to Loughborough I gotta stay overnight at the weekend, every weekend for 6 months . It works out more expensive to go than it would cost to go the uni close to me.

Feel like I've spent the day talking to brick walls. Really pi55es me off

I've never been to uni. I finished collage nearly 10 years ago and everything else I've needed to do since I've been able to do within work except for the ISRM Pool Plant Operators which I did at Lym leisure centre, Manchester. It would'nt bother me so much if someone would do the same thing alongside me so things can be evenly shared out but no, the bloody wanker of a manager wont let anyone else do it. I've now got half an hour before I go back to work (again) cos theres nobody to staff the gym. Have already done a 9 hour shift today and have another 10 hours to do tomorrow supervising one of the centres.
