First/third pic (same pic): right frame? camera button or exposed waterproof mini usb.
second pic: left frame? holes for volume button? docking magnet? flaps?
anyway, the frame looks suspiciously too clean: where is the hole for the rounded power button? 1 flap hole only?

^ Don't be sceptical, be sure Sony won't make a mistake with design.

I like the frame.

Fellow, i am not skeptical, i'm just trying to guess the placement of the usual components. i highly trust info coming from digi-wo. they prove to be a good source. i'm sure sony will bring A design. but more questions arise from the pics then answers so i can't have an opinion about the design. metal is a good start but i didn't expect plastic from sony so...

The middle picture quite clearly has a camera icon next to one of the cut-outs.

Also, notice that the edges are parallel, meaning not arc-ed on one side, meaning an end to the arc return.

...or so it seems

Yes, no arc design.

@Ricky D
nice notice.
So...
first pic: what seems to be the UPPER part of the left frame - exposed waterproof usb - it has the shape. sony ditched the magnetic dock(?) it is missing from the middle of the frame.
second: the LOWER part of the right frame - camera button, followed by volume button followed by the rounded power button that the pic doesn't reveal.

One thing I notice is that the cut-outs are not in the middle of the side strips like in previous omnibalance designs.

To me this says that the cross-section of the device is unlikely symmetrical more likely the back has a smaller footprint and the sides taper in (kind of like the Nexus 4) OR the back is curved outwards like some of the cheaper Z series variants.

It would be a terrible mistake of the newest flagship looks like a cheap variant of a two ear old flagship.

I'm wondering about that frame.....it looks too thin. The Z1 and Z1 frames were all made from precision machined from a single block of aluminium. This "frame" looks barely a millimetre thick. How will it provide structural rigidity and thermal dissipation?

This looks more like a band that would be wrapped around an existing frame or something along those lines. Far too thin and flimsy to be the principle frame of the phone. What is the actual body of the phone constructed from? What will it look like? The fact that Sony phones are made from metal and glass, mean that they dissipate heat more effectively than plastics or polycarbonate. While this means that the phone will get warm under intensive use, it means that the SoC inside won't be broiling in its own heat.

Also, relying on the Arc design for a third time, would be disappointing to me. I'd much prefer them to do something new. I'm interested in finding out more.
