Okay I was wrong, its not a MIC its a Xenon FLASH light sensor thats why nothing happens when you cover it.


i get it you mean when the flash goes off its a sensor for that, so it knows how much light is there when the flash is lighting up the place, makes sense now!haha

It tells the variable flash how powerfully it should fire. You know the L.E.Ds that come on when taking a picture, their light is reflected back to the sensor. If it receives a lot of light back the camera assumes an object is very close and thus the flash is fired weakly. The opposite is true if it doesn't receive much reflected light.

It's been around for a while, but the first page was only updated yesterday. It is literally a 3-branded firmware, so nothing to get excited about.

I have 3 branded version, but no update is showing for me when I use SEUS. It says my software is up to date yet it isn't. Are you sure this available for 3 uk customers?
