Actually If you ask in my country, they will ask you what is the phone you are asking for... kidding.
actually it should be here a month later imho.
So what do you think, will there be bugs?

That video looks superimposed onto the phone. I hope it really IS that smooth in reality.

The same discussion with every model launch since P800:THIS phone is too late, there are others better and already launched. Ok,why don't you get it and wait for X1? And yes, there will be plenty of bugs and i'll have a good laugh in October when the same ppl screaming "it's too late" will buy it and will be very unhappy about the bugs. This happens because people never learn: have patience, let others be the Guinea pigs while paying top cash and learn from them.

Yeah it does... Didn't even notice it until you mentioned it.... Still it's just a promo/commercial. Who's the author of this promo/commercial? Is it SE's worK, or even official? If so, it's highly suspicious with the phone purportedly right around the corner.

relax ,the smoothness isn't gonna be as fas as the promo video.
remember iphone 3g's promo vid? "fast ,reliable ,bla bla bla" ,not even close as fast as the one in the vid.
it's just promotional ,marketing stuff

in a youtube video, already low quality, it's impossible to say what bitrate is being used on the video - if it was low then it's quite possible the video could be very smooth.
The real question is: what highest video bitrate is supported by X1 while still being smooth to watch.

Haven't you noticed there is a lot of buzz more than usual, in the past couple of weeks?
Contradictory or else does't matter, it means something is stirring up. Couple that with the new video ad...
I'm exited I smell somthing good soon.

@max_wedge:
The point I was making was that the graphics we see in the X1 commercial look like they were superimposed onto the X1 as opposed to us seeing the graphics of the X1 directly (this practice is probably typical). Not only do the graphics look superimposed, they look unrealistically smooth and fast. My question is how do the actual graphics of the final production model actually look ? (a rhetorical question actually

)
As for it's highest video bitrate supported, X1 is supposed to be able to playback h.264, VGA @ 30 fps @ 2mbps bitrate.

@whybe, sorry, I realised that's what you meant, and you are right it looks superimposed, but I was simply adding the point that regardless whether it is or not, youtube will not be a viable medium for demonstrating the X1 performance even if it wasn't superimposed.
