I also have some draining but nothing major still the battery with 4.2 was enough for more then 5hours of screen time and now hardly get 4:30h.
More of a concern is the strange bug that ocasionally didn`t turn-off the screen during a call... It`s annoying.
I also didn`t like the camera interface - settings is not intuitive as before.

I'm on .559 and the battery life is fantastic.
However, I seem to have picked up a Wifi hotspot bug. If I turn on the Hotspot, it connects OK and maintains the connection to the tethered laptop but soon the data throughput stops and I can only get it working again by having a data hungry app active on the phone itself, eg, Tune-In, running.
It's like the data connection goes to sleep after the while. But if I open a browser on the phone, for instance, and refresh the page then the data connection on my tethered laptop becomes active again. Strange.

I had decent battery life on the previous version but so far battery life seems pretty good on .101 thus far for me. Phone usually lasts 1.5-2days depending on usage

@Muhammad-Oli: no new about the phone?
Hi Tranced
Well, I sent it away two weeks ago for repair and they told me that it is covered by the warranty and will be repaired but they said they needed to wait for parts. The last I heard was on Monday when they said the parts had arrived and it should be ready yesterday, so I guess it should be showing up at my house any day now!
I'm keen to see what exactly they have done because from my experience, a dead phone is a dead phone!

Just had the .101 update through. Installing as I type.
@Muhammad-Oli
That's the impression I was under. How do they resurrect a 'dead' phone? It almost seems more trouble than it's worth but I guess they just replace a part of the board. I've seen them disassemble one on youtube so I guess they know what they're doing.

@Muhammad-Oli; @goldenface :
When my Xperia arc faced that 0% battery issue after flashing an old firmware over newer one, they replaced the whole motherboard, the phone was identified by Play Store as a different phone as the IMEI & device ID changed to new one...

Well it looks like we were correct. I opened the parcel this morning to find a brand new Xperia Z complete with temporary screen protectors and new IMEI. I guess that's what the 'part' was that they were waiting for... a whole new phone!
This couldn't have worked out better to be honest. This has much more resale value than my used one would have so I'm going to put it up on TradeMe (basically our NZ Ebay) tonight and get all I can for it before upgrading to a Z2 when that comes out.
Just got to put up with the old X10 for a bit. -_-

Bloody hell! It just took me about 2 mins to reply to the this thread because I couldn't get past the pesky Domino's Pizza ad!!! What's going on? Very aggressive advertising!! I was going to give up altogether!
@Muhammad-Oli
Great news! That is exactly what I'd do too, you should get a decent price for a new Xperia Z.

@goldenface: Yeah I hope so, and I can add value with the charging dock too.
Interestingly, this Z was manufactured in the second to last week of 2013 (13W51). I would have thought they were done manufacturing the Z by then?

Yeah, I have the dock too. The Z was a big seller for Sony so I'm not surprised it was still in production. I'm about to sell my white one too, I hope I can get a good price.
I've been playing a lot of games such as Sprinkle Islands and Asphalt 8 and the phone has become quite warm. May be the back will pop off!
