@mario: My pleasure.
Anyone here still using Agile Messenger on their mobiles? The last time I used it, it was still free here in naija. People are already being billed for its use in some other countries.

@brym: Too bad. You know the drill: once awoof is over, we regulars are usually the last men standing.
AgileM works excellently well on the 9500, as I know others who use it.
In less than 24 hours of using Starcomms internet, I have logged over 37mb of data. On glodirect, that would have cost me nothing less than N7,400!!!!!
You guys should be happy for me that I was smart enough to switch.

@mamba: The Nokia 2285's internal browser keeps telling me "internet access not configured", though the phone is working as a modem. It is uncertain whether this runs across all their mobiles.
I intend to call Starcomms Data Support for more details about it.

@mamba: Starcomms says that service (browsing via internal browser) is not yet active on their network.
Meanwhile, I am considering getting a PDA to use with my 2285 when on the move. The Palm Zire 72 looks good. Any other suggestions?

@Aya: I knew it, I was sure you couldn't stay away from one of such gadgets. Can you imagine someone downgrading from a 9500 to a bland 2285? Go on Bro, indulge yourself.
