The Xperia GX, Acro HD are both Japanese phones which have seen launched outside of Japan as international versions, lets hope the SX will follow.

First of all please please don't quote posts with pictures.

Secondly, the phone on the left is LT25c the new Xperia for China (CDMA device) and on the right is LT29i. The LT25c has the Sony/Japan Mobile Display screen and hence you can see how much better it is. You will see similar screen in 2013 Xperia range. But this year exclusive to China
LT29i has a Toshiba LTPS (Low-temperature poly silicon) panel, just like the Ion and Xperia S.

@Indiandawg that isn't actually Jelly Bean but rather a few JB apps ported to ICS to give the appearance of JB.

AFAIK, LT29 will be first Sony device to support MHL.
You will need MHL adapter cable to make it work with current generation of TVs.
BTW, I'm not sure if there already has TVs with native MHL on sale by now?

As what HxH said, LT29 will be the first device from Sony to get MHL, thought this is nice but I prefere both options (MHL enabled USB port + seperate MiniHDMI )... USB based MHL still has it's limitations, thats why Samsung changed the port with more pins, SGS3 MHL adapters is not compatible with SGS2, Sony will have a dock for LT29 that will incorporate MHL adaptor on it, but being based on USB port it has some limitations, the biggest one is when using the HDMI output you'll be only able to charge the phone, no data... this mean if you want to play with your phone while connected to the TV you will only can use Bluetooth controllers... Sony already knows this limitation and released the updated SmartDock to mock this limitation (no USB ports, only HDMI)... any way PS3 controllers already use Bluetooth...

Samsung with GS3 opted for more pins in the port to be able to use both HDMI output and USB data and charging also...
