ok..now this is really driving me crazy.......My w810's firmware version is R4CE012 and I've got an italian generic CDA cuz my phone is italian, and unbranded....so far I've found only one bug on my phone...but it's that kind of bug that really makes me ungry...!!!.....my phone can't display flashlite themes...with the default themes I only get normal icons....so I've tried on seus and it told me that I had the latest software version...than I wanted to try gprs update BUT sonyericsson support page to send mms and wap configurations doesn't work.....grrr....what the heck can I do?????...My phone is italian therefore europe 5....
Ah...another thing...I'm a mac user...therefore I always have to bug a friend of mine to access SEUS...
wel...I've checked right now...I also have the flash bug...but not the rds one...and I think the only solution will be to upgrade via wotanserver....

Hmm, well at the moment i don't have internet access at home, and can't get my pc to connect via usb or bluetooth to the internet over gprs.. No idea why it doesn't work. Guess I'll have to wait for bt to come sort my phoneline, or o2 sort out their OTA:(

This thread is lacking some important info on the first post.
I have a K750i and a friend of mine just got a W810. The USB cable doesnt seem to work right away.
1) Where can I find USB drivers for the W810i?
2) How do I check the firmware on the W810i, is it the same way as the K750?
3) Are the instructions for updating the firmware the same as the K750i?
I´m sorry if this has been answered before, but there are 22 pages on this topic. Like I said, this is info that should be on the first post (could a moderador edit it, in case the poster isnt around?)

@holysin ..well...yes..before posting I've read all the 22 pages of the post...even if it took me some time

....however yes the w810 update process is the same as on the K750 and yes yuo can check the firmware version the same way you do in your k750...and you can easily donwload the usb drivers from the se web site...
!update! ---> only one world....
www.wotanserver.com ...since seus still told me I had the letest firmware I've updated using wotan an I now have R4DB005, flash menus and no flash light bug....awsome...
I love this phone..

kabukijep: The drivers on the CD that comes with the phone will work fine, don't they?
Hmm, the battery life is pretty bad for me. For you too? I have to charge it like ever third or fourth day. The talk time is very good I think, but the standby seems to be a lot less than the 350 hours SE promises. Charged it this morning, have played very little music and made some calls but the battery is on 79% already.

Since when is 3-4 days poor battery life? Of course SE's specs are over-inflated. They always are. But 3-4 days is not poor.

Yes it is poor. My Z800i (with 3g inactivated) held for at least 5-6 days, often 7. I cannot imagine my w810i to play music for 30 hours.
Anyway. Tha bettery indicator and the % in the phone status seem not to cooperate that good.

The status says 77% now but the battery in the top right has only gone down one tiny step...

yes, i got those drivers from my w810 CD. wierdly enough,

does not provide the driver files independently for download as they did with K750/W800. Take note that these drivers are regular W810/OBEX/etc drivers - the flash drivers are automatically installed with the SEUS application
