@mrykkk
Send us pictures of both phones. I wonder how Voda can be finer than the unbranded one.
IAbout tricking the Seus, I don't think this will ever work.

I know tricking SEUS is doubtful... but you never know
No visible differences on the voda and generic version... the way it was put together just 'feels' different.
I've compared both and the voda version definately seems more refined.

Care to expand on this with examples?

My cousin has the completely unbranded p990i whilst I have the vodafone version.
There's alot of squeakyness when using his compared to mine which feels solidly built.
I'm able to run multiple applications without system crashes.
He can't even browse the web and listen to mp3's where as I can.
Also he seems to have a more power hungry set, or it's down the initial charge.

As some of you know I have a generic SIM free P990 (build week 30) and a Voda P990 (build week 36). I will try to report my findings about differences...but getting a bit busy at work (well I have to work at some point

) so probably wont get a chance for objective comparisons until the weekend.

my P990 is Generic unbranded was built in Wk 32 ,
I really can't understand that there will be differences between the Generic one and a Voda version. You guys are basing your findings on your wordings, please prove with pictures and etc.

How long does it take to modify a firmware with two bloody voda screens and repackage?
Pull your fingers out of your bottoms voda.

@doublecheese
1. My Voda P990 has no data on it therefore you'd expect it to be quicker than my fully loaded generic P990
2. The flip mechanism feels smoother on the Voda P990 than on the generic one - which has a very strong flip action. Not sure how you could show that in pictures
3. I'm not bothered by the differences, just find it interesting

@ Jah
Agreed on the flip issue
Notice anything with the jog dials? The voda one has a better feel to it!
Interestingly, my generic P990 is also a Week 34 build. Not sure on the voda one at the moment because I've left it at home.
