Correct, P1 has a 2.6 inch screen while P990 has a 2.8 inch screen.
M600 has the same size but not made in the same way. (not as sensitive in sunlight)

can the p990's internal ram be replaced by p1's chip to increase ram? or nearly impossible to do? i would think that the architecture is the same so we should be able to swap the chips for the ram???

but i think it's impossible because the chip is not detacheable like notebooks or PCs. but i do hope someone "expert" could make a software to utilize the Memory Stick as a external RAM storage other than External File storage or the internal memory as RAM

Very unlikely. In binary system 2x64 = 128 requires an extra digit - interpreted as an additional data connection. I haven't seen the inside of the P990 but unless SE specifically intended the P990 RAM to be upgradeable and designed the board as such, it will not be possible without changing the main board.
