I'd like to ask to who installed the new fw.
Being the new fw and including fixed minor bugs what is this new fw for? No one really tells what is the difference. Is it worth to update? Does it make any improvements at all?
I hope SE releases a better fw for the rest of the bugs.

i dont mind waiting as long as they sort the green tint out on the camera. To be honest that is the only bug that i notice with the current firmware.

I had a few problems with wifi on R6D23 but I haven't any with R6E30.
Do you think the bug has been fixed?

..Yeah, they really should be publicising the actual fixes and changes.
But.. there were some connection- tweaks done in the latest firmware. Apart from improved settings for proxy- servers. I don't think they changed the implementation of the wifi, or anything of that sort, but it seems they did something with the priority of the package- stream, and the way it attempts to authenticate the connection. So if you run fring, or get a phone- call while using wifi, it seems (seems) to work much quicker and more like you'd expect. Instead of things suddenly grinding to a halt, so that you'll lose the connection, etc. Or the phone reboots suddenly when you switch to gprs, or you don't get the call, and so on.
Of course, that's just my impression - but I've had one reboot after the last firmware. And that happened when I was surfing and pushed the back- button when Opera was doing some sort of cleanup script, before trying to open a new page. So I don't think there are hangs because of wifi- connectivity stuff like there was earlier.
Still - that's just my impression. And there still are some curious things happening when using wifi - such as that the one calling won't get a "beep... beep" tone while connecting(I've had that at least once, and that would be because of connection/update trouble with the nearest central) - and it could be I've just been lucky, or have just changed the way I use the software. So, as several others say - if you have some issues - upgrade, and believe very strongly that it helps. Maybe you could upgrade if you clog the phone full of junk- apps, and need to reset it anyway. But if you don't, don't bother, and wait for the next one. (imo, anyway)

My P1 already brought this latest firmware, so i canīt compare...
Question is, when will a new one be out...i will try to know that...
There is a specific thing i would like then to change - the lack keyboard support for fastforwarding on the media player! I used that alot on the P990, and i canīt understand why they left it out of the P1, right now we only can do it via touchscreen...all the 3rd party media players have the option to use left and right keys for this

I find it "amusing" that Ares is talking about the next firmware release when poor sods like me with Irish CDA (/55) are still waiting to get the current release. Using wifi especially for email continually hangs my phone and I'm hoping the new firmware will improve this.
