Sry, I'm not meaning to be rude, but this question has been answered several times in this forum. Look at (some of) the previous posts in this tread...

If you're software version is the same as the title of this thread, then you have the very latest firmware release on your phone, so no need to do anything.... Putting any of the GW versions on your phone doesn't localise it at all AFAIK, I was merely musing on a posible reason as to why there are 3 of them - appologies for any confusion!!

@JAGUY85/technokid17
there is a running list of issues here:
http://uiq3.sourceforge.net/w[....]hones/P1i#R6G04_reference_list

the list is referenced by organiser version, hence it takes a bit of finding on the wiki site....click on the bugs' numbers to get detailed descriptions.

Cross reference to the previous versions' lists to see the fixes in this one.

Oh I see. So there's no worries for me changing my CDA to GW2. Thanks for the info.

...just one thing. The wiki- stuff is completely unofficial, not complete, and usually things are written down since it seemed more satisfying than just screaming something at the phone. So the focus isn't on accuracy and completeness.

But - if there's anything else to add - please don't hesitate to register and do some edits
Just another thing, in my opera problem, just like the previous version and I thought it will be fixed with the latest, when I'm trying to watch videos using youtube, either youtube.com or m.youtube.com, I always got the message in the media viewer saying, "The link appears not to be valid, do you want to try again?" I'm using wireless lan. How can I fix this problem? I tried using opera mini 4 but it says flash is not properly installed.

It's a router- thing. Seems it works with m.tube if you route the usual realmedia ports to the phone. Or maybe the inbuilt media- player doesn't support rtsp.. completely.. But it's difficult to really say exactly what's going on. It works partially sometimes, and then suddenly it doesn't, and so on...

Maybe it depends on how your router handles the automatic proxy- setup?

edit: Note: that's true only for the "can't connect" or "failed to open file" problems, obviously.

AFAIK, this browser (Opera Mini 4 for UIQ) doesn't support Flash - yet... Too bad, I know, but hopefully Opera Mobile 9.5 will be included in some future FW-upgrade from via SEUS.

When it comes to using the 'built-in' browser [Opera 8.65 for Symbian OS ("768")], this plays videos from YouTube using the media player in P1i. At least this works fine for me. Anyone having problems with this?!

I'm using the built-in browser [Opera 8.65 for Symbian OS ("768")] but still, I can't play online videos via youtube.com. Hope the next generation Opera mobile can handle flash files.

Jesus! I don't get why do you want so bad to play movies from youtube. Why don't you use the mobile version? http://m.youtube.com ALL videos are available there.

i'm pretty sure that not all the videos are on m.youtube.com. and the quality is not great - i still use it tho - a really good idea for mid-range phones but the p1i is meant to be a flagship.

I have the latest firmware, but never been able to play m.youtube.com videos properly! I mean, it works sometimes and doesn't most of the time, I can click on a video and it buffers and plays, if I click on it "again" it gives me the message "the link is not found" kinda stuff... I have no idea why although I am using 3G not wifi, I have unlimited plan... even any streaming media, like mobile TV, sometimes it plays and most of the times it doesn't... I was hoping this will be resolved by the firmware version, but obviously it didn't! I flashed it many times, and yet it is the same... I thought coreplayer was supposed to replace the online media player, but obviously it doesn't! I have it and yet when I click the link in opera, media player opens instead...

Hi, I have recently bought P1i and I am trying to bring it up the latest firmware. The problem I encounter is that even though I do not have the most recent firmware, SEUS always says that upgrade is not necessary as I have the most current version. This is what my phone shows in the System Information screen:

Phone: CXC162037 R9J005
Bluetooth: CXC162143 R1D
Organizer: CXC162108 R6F41
CDA: 162022/1 R6F38

Any idea why it does not let me to go to R6G04?
I am based in Europe (Czech Republic), but when turning the phone ON for the first time, I chose English (United States) as the preferred language (I hate localized software). I doubt this can be the cause of the issue described above.

gergic - i have the same issue.

I think it is due to the phone version not being R9K009
