Guys, just wait until plank buys C901, and changes his opinion again, again, and again... first it was K750i, then K810i, then K850i, now it`s C902, all of these phones were the best camera phones ever made (bla bla bla), while he owned them, and the reality is totally different, only the legendary K750i justified the title...

The K810 was pretty good too.

I know, I had a K800i! K800/10i had one huge issue, and that was agressive noise reduction that produced water colors/oil paintings photos. It seems that all other SE CyberShot phones except for the K770i inherited the same issue...
C901i looks promising, I just hope it will be released in Bosnia, Croatia or Serbia, so I can get it...

it would be a pretty useless if you felt you upgrade to a worse camera when you bought a new phone, wouldn't it ?
(i can agree that i was a bit disappointed with K850 in auto mode, otherwise it rock)
anyway. this C901 pictures here on Esato looks so different to this Japanese (or whatever they are shot)....think we can wait to give C901 the final verdict.
I just HOPE they turn out different then how they looks now, I bloody hate this smudge/washed-out-Nokia-quality this Japanese pictures have.
edit...
ps. is it just me and Raederski who think outdoor pics looks way to yellow(warm) ??
edit again...
hhhmmm.... None of this C901 pictures here on Esato have this yellow nuance, they are the opposite (quite pale) ??? just wondering what type of C901 this Japanese guy had ??

I guess you missed CodeMonkey's explanation (on page 22 of this thread) on the daytime outdoor color temperature close to vs far away from the equator. Seems that your observation only confirms what he said: I assume that Mizzle's test shots were taken in Denmark while the "Japanese guy" probably shot his photos close to his home.

pictures from latest review (link by puestadelsol) clearly shows that there's no problem with white balance in C901. now I'm even more excited

. still, i think they looks quite Pale(milky).
(cant see them in bigger size....anyone ????)
the only thing i wishing is they get rid of this nasty smudge-N95-quality
Ps.............

Yeah. It looks so fake when they haven't NR'd and oversharpened the sh*t out of all fine details, doesn't it? Better stick with your beloved C902. They may never produce another camera phone like it again.

of course they will. SE have several phones with same (similar) excellent processing and Sony hardware. (k800/k810, w902, C905 + some more) so im pretty convinced they keep on using same great method
(as long they dont use Samsungs-ultra-mediocre-Mid-End-cameras in the future....im pleased
)
