tsepz it really is a beautiful phone. have to admit even if a successor was announced next month to the 1520 i wouldnt feel bad. we are a perfect match.

aussieland1 as soon as i have some free time to experiment with this phone camera will post some pics and you can get acquainted with beautiful south africa.

bonovox my cousin is also considering the 930. its almost a replica of the 1520 which is really starnge as they have 8 months seperating them. (stand to be corrected). No card slot though for me is a big no no.

Hobbs, you must post pics of the fantastic work you do on and in those lovely houses you work on as well.

The 930 internally is pretty much a 1520, same CPU/GPU, same RAM, same screen resolution (1080x1920) etc... It's the camera, battery, display panel size, lack of expandable memory that separate them mainly, I'd actually get a 1520 over a 930 TBH, the 1520 has such a presence about it, I took notice of it from quite a distance, walked straight passed everything else, lol.

Tsepz I walk past this store every morning called 3G Data Lounge which is a Vodacom store and in the window display on the one side you have your Samsung Galaxy phone range and on the other side your Lumias. For a whole month the 1520 teased me everytime I walked past it until I eventually couldnt take it anymore. Hang in there for another month.

The most important difference is the different battery pack... the 1520 has a much bigger one and it seems like WP 8.1 needs it too.

The camera should be exactly the same, no ?

I love Nokia Creative Studio. The filters are mighty fine, especially 'warm copper' and 'b&w strong'.

Some pics of a Old Cape Dutch house we are maybe going to be involved in with restoring back to its former glory.

My transition to WP from Android has been a smooth one on the app front. Been very conservative regarding what goes on this phone and have seemed to have found and covered everything I need so far.

Apps Installed:

Facebook
Instagram Beta and 6Tag (bounce between the two apps)
Supersport (to cover all my local sporting needs)
News24 (covers all my local news and weather)
BBC & CNN (covers my world news)
Dictionary.com (dictionary-looks so damn good on a WP)
Currency Converter
Flashlight (everyone needs a torch every now and again)
IMDB & Flixster (covers all my movie and TV show needs)
WPtrakt (helps me catalogue and remember where I am with TV series.) TV Series the Android equivalent is available for $3.99 but WPtrakt does the same thing and maybe even better.
myPrivate Safe (stores all my passwords)
TuneIn Radio (covers my online radio needs)
Whatsapp
Wikipedia
AAWP & WPCentral (covers all my WP latest news)

Apps Still searching for:
PhoneMyPC by SoftwareForMe equivalent. (remote desktop app)
DIRadio equivalent (to cover my Electronic/Dance music needs)

Still early days. Haven't explored much in the Store as yet.
