Just out of curiosity. What does (saw) stand for?
When ever the Holy Prophet Mohammed's name is mentioned the words (sallalua alaye walleye wassalam) (SAW) which in short means PEACE BE UPON HIM have to be mentioned as a mark of respect.
Absolutely true, this is what it states in the Holy Quran in Chapter 33:
"He it is Who sends blessings on you, as do His angels, that He may bring you out from the depths of Darkness into Light: and He is Full of Mercy to the Believers.
Their salutation on the Day they meet Him will be "Peace!"; and He has prepared for them a generous Reward.
O Prophet! Truly We have sent thee as a Witness, a Bearer of Glad Tidings, and Warner"
The Holy Prophet (saw) is what i believe the greatest human to have walked on this planet. He is so great in the eyes of Alimighty Allah (God) that everyday on this earth his name is called in the Adhan (call to prayer) around the world and also when we Muslims pray 5 times a day. Peace be upon him, what a great person he was and his actions are still present here today.
How lucky us Muslims are to have such a Prophet but we do not realise it today. May Allah (god) forgive us all - Amen.

No problems buddy, it's an education for all of us. Some people fear religious talks and think that arguements are inevitable but as this topic shows their is a way to be friendly with different faiths.
@joebmc, The Holy Quran mentions in Chapter 42 Verse 13 that Almighty Allah (God) gave the same religion to many Prophets. We all believe differently but i think it is 110% true:
"The same religion has He established for you as that which He enjoined on Noah - the which We have sent by inspiration to thee - and that which We enjoined on Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: Namely, that ye should remain steadfast in religion, and make no divisions therein: to those who worship other things than Allah, hard is the (way) to which thou callest them. Allah chooses to Himself those whom He pleases, and guides to Himself those who turn (to Him)."

No problems bruv, most of my information is from the
Holy Quran which gives me all the information on life and hearafter, i am just sharing what was revealed over 1400 years ago and feel that people should know what our religion is really about. (and not what is written in the daily Tabloids)
The Holy Quran states in Chapter 3 Verses 109/110:
"To (God) Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: To Him do all questions go back (for decision).
Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in (God) Allah. If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith"
