Interesting, the one I had on 3 in the UK also had that logo when it is in a 3g area, but in the What Cellphone review the Vodafone ones have different graphics. The Battery contains individual bars as opposed to a single decreasing bar and the 3g logo is 3G, I think the signal info and GPRS info is also differently displayed.

Anyone got any idea of a release date for this on UK Voda? Am thinking of taking it as an upgrade to my P800, but they just bunging my 3 sim in the z1010 and keeping the P800 on Voda. The NEC e616 is a bit naff to be honest

every time there is major news, i add it onto the name of the official thread. You must have missed it but vodafone officials say december will be the release date for the z1010 on vodafone. The video voda network will be up by then and the z1010 has been named 'one of the most anticipated 3g phones for a long time', so it is very likely as soon as the video network is up on voda. However, it will be more expensive than three so let's hope that it comes out on three sooner and for less!

A friend informed me that the Z1010 will be out on Orange Monday 5 July 2004. He says he got the info from Orange CS. I haven't heard anything further from the Three people. However, Three have a big manager's meeting this Friday at Legoland, it is expected that the Z1010 will be the hot topic of the event. I almost stumped for a K700i on O2, then sense prevailed, you've waited this long, what's another 2 weeks. Come on 3 pull your finger out!!!
