It's an essential system component that has nothing to do with SMan. You can't get rid of it.

@zol, the way Droll describes it the feature sounds like it should be fundamental to Symbian. If that is the case, the only thing I can think of would be the ability to backup your SMS and phonebook to a memory card. That is a feature I would really love to have.

Hi all,
Just an announcement. Droll and I have decided that SMan v1.4 will be the last, final version. Developing SMan costs time and money which we cannot afford anymore. Making SMan freeware doesn't exactly generate much revenue. Thanks to all who had contributed.

Why shouldn't Sman development be stopped? I can honestly say I never really touch it anymore on my P910i as there is enough RAM in it to mean I never close applications anymore.
