Wow Tom the game just gets better and better. I have to say the worms AI has improved termendously. Now if you play against two computer opponents, they always gang up against you which makes it very challenging. Even if the third team's worm is just in front of the 2nd team's worm, they will just ignore each other and both will find ingenious ways to somehow attack the human player. Thanks Tom, by the way I know money is not ur main motivation (at least I think), just wanted to tell you that if you get the game to work over GPRS, I'd pay an extra 10 dollars just for that pack. I'm sure others would too. Thanks for the great work, its the best game on the P series.

I haven't updated my Soldierants for a while, but got the latest version last night. Love the digging mole and radioactive carrot implementation.

That carrot is a great idea, hats off to whoever came up with that.......

I don't have a bundled GPRS plan, so have to pay for any connections. This means I probably wouldn't use this feature very much. Now, if it could be made to use my PC's internet connection via bluetooth (the way Opera does), that would be something special!

Anyway, looking forward to seeing this flight sim that you've been working to hard on, Tom. Will start trying to make some space on my Duo.

If money was my main motivation I would do something else! Seriously, I have made virtually nothing from this as sales of games on UIQ are amazingly low. Hopefully that will improve.

Watch out for the next version, which will probably be tonight or tomorrow. That'll be worth updating to as well (I hope you agree!).

There's a while left before that sees the light of day. Im guessing I have a month or so before I even get any proper testing done on it. I think if it is released in March that will be good. It has been a huge job.

I really think soldier ants is far and away most playable game on px00, and would love to see it develop into THE essential game for px00 series. I think online play, with lobbies, chatrooms,stats,etc.. could give S.ants a real sense of community. Combine this with a little more control over your team (lmport your own flag, customize team characteistics a little i.e. a slider for agility VS accuracy, one for short or long range hit bonus, armour vs bullet strength..) would give your team more character... these kind of features would make s.ants essential! variable gravity settings, weapon options (hand to hand, just grenades that kind of thing) would make a rich online gaming experience...

It is a lot of changes, but lm sure it would pay off with longivity and excellent word of mouth...

Knight let me tell you its definitely worth a try and once you're on it, you're gonna be hooked to it man (kind of like drugs). If I were u, I'd buy it straight away, but go ahead give it a test first. I'm sure you'll make the full purchase afterwards. U cen get the trial version on Floss' website as someone provided above. Cheers.

It is a good game.

I must say that the inclusion of the cluster missile has made it even harder - the CPU ants seem pretty good at aiming it whilst I find it nearly impossible! I find aiming all the boms weapons pretty difficult.

Out of interest, seeing as it's a stylus controlled game, why not allow the direct selection of an ant with a straight point rather than the cycle through icon?

If anyone has any strategies for this game I'd welcome them. I keep getting beaten.
