WTF, i bought credits from Davinci just for removing that. So you mean that i my phone is still locked even tough i have used Davinci to remove any locks and flashed it to R3K?

if your reffering to "still locked" in terms of using SEUS, then if it didnt work before, and davinic didnt change your CDA number, then i gather you still wont be able to update using SEUS as far as i know. sorry if im wrong, tho im sure someone will correct me if i am:S

Are you sure it updated ok? Mine did that and my customization is still R3B032 even though my software is now R3K004

Can someone or anyone for that matter explain to me why it is soooo important to have MS Duo Pro support on a PHONE? Other than maybe having more room for music, I can not see the point in watching small movies, videos, etc... on such a small screen. I see people complaining and whining that there is no MS Duo Pro support, so please elaborate as to why this is the Grail of the s700/

I have never been able to get the SEUS to work properly with MSIE simply for the very reason you stated. It is crap. Netscape, the original web broswer via Mosaic, actually runs Java better. If you remember, MS had to remove Java from the Windoze OS because of a row with Sun. All other browsers run Java better than MSIE.

All browsers have to pay homage to Mosaic in some way or another. Sun did not mind MSIE having Java, but they did not want MS to screw around with it and in a way to try and "own" Java. Typical MS action when it comes to a technology that they did not own. As you also know MS rarely invents anything. You friend that could not get it to run, did he have Java installed on his PC? If he was running only Active X, there is a good chance it would not run. I think the SEUS will not run with Active X.

I used the DSS20 that came with my P800 as standard and the update seemed to work fine on my S700i.

Maybe you have a newer P800 than when i got mine, but the one that came with my P8 was definatly not a DSS.
