i've noticed that too in the initial firmware (also now);
but here is the funny thing: only the photos that are taken at 640*480 have this problem. those at 2Mp res aren't

I wish I'd read this forum _before_ i got the K750i!! Mine seems to have every bug listed on the forum. I've had it 36 hours and it's locked up at least 10 times! it can't stay on standby for more than 1 hour without locking up.
It also has terrible reception compared to every other phone i've tried with the same SIM card...
And i can hardly hear who I'm trying to talk to, the earpiece volume is so low even on maximum volume.
It's going back. If the replacement has the same bugs I may try and cancel the contract and stick with my ancient old nokia on pay as you go for a while longer. It hasn't got a camera, but least it works as a phone.

why don't you update your firmware? i'm pretty sure it'll fix everything. my earpiece volume is great, i have no freezing or lockups... etc. my phone is now 99% perfect

Two reasons.
1. I have a Mac. SE don't have Mac compatible firmware updating software. Most of my friends have Macs too, so it's not as easy as you'd think finding somewhere to flash the bloody thing
2. When I originally phoned up the suppliers to inform them of the problems I was having, they said it was a know issue and that they'd send out a replacement with updated software. They didn't even suggest flashing the phone. I only discovered this site while googling about after I'd arranged for the replacement.

Just out of curiosity, did your phone have the earphone volume problems before you updated your firmware?
I'm assuming that the freeze thing is easily fixed with a firmware update, but i'm a little dubious as to the quality control aspect of these phones. I would have thought that the reception and earpiece volume could just as easily be hardware issues?
I'm hoping the replacement will fix all these issues. I'm not holding my breath just yet

well i think the firmware made it a little louder, it just seems that way. before, it was still loud. I remember when i first took it out, i forgot to take off the little "screen protector" and it was SO quiet, so then i cut around it... and it's loud. but then i got a martin fields screen protector... and that thing is amazing.

If you read around on forums you will have hard time to find anybody claim bad reception (I may have seen 3 or 4 so far). For the earpiece volume, most people (although not all) have reported increased volume.

Not sure if this is a bug, but if you have a file thats on a memory stick that the K750i needs to use during a event (for example, a ringtone) AND your phone is plugged in to a PC via a USB cable, the phone won't be able to load that file as the memory stick is in use as a USB drive on the PC.
I just found that one out as my message tone (on the memory stick) couldn't be used when I received a message and it reverted to the default Message Tone 1 instead...

that is not a bug
the phone can't access the Mem Stick while it's connected via Usb cable, so it just uses the default sound

Hi
Donīt know if someone allready got this bug. But when I try to view the pictures I transfered with the USB cabel, the phone just lock up. And I need to take the battery out for the phone to restart. This is pictures wich is about 1,5MB in size.
Iīm also on a Mac, so I canīt upgrade the firmware. Iīve tried with the Virtual PC, but the whole Mac just crashes when I use the USB cabel.
But do anybody else got this bug, or maybe itīs fixed in the new firmware?
Matt
