Just spoke to customer service help centre they told me that theres nothing wrong with it, no reported faults and its the way im holding the phone.

The next firmware update is in a couple of weeks!!

He also said that the firmware is not a major update and the software is not being changed and the phone will remain the same.

HMMM someone is telling us bull!

It sounds like they're making it up on the spot to me. But who knows? No one.

That would be very disappointing if true.

Can anyone post the differences in the new O2 K850i Firmware like I did with the Rogers Wireless firmware please? Just to compare differences to see if its just slightly different and if there was a need for a completely different firmware revision number?

thanks

Well i cleaned the lights sensor below the back of the flash! Pictures excellent now! I used an old electric toothbrush to clean it up! Still its poor design when its taken this long to clean!

I just used some compressed air (at an angle) and it works OK. I still have found out that if you set ISO to 100 the pics with flash improve quite a bit (especially the close-ups etc).

Personally, I'm not sure there's a lot about this phone that's designed well. Creaky casing, lose screen, dust inside the lens cover, a battery cover that loosens...
