that's what the woman at semicon warned me. She said that 2 out of 10 upgrade is not successful and the phone either won't turn on or th edisplay will show chinese characters.

just a question, got hold of the lates firmware for P800: R3A (HL1_162021_000000_0000_R3A06, HL1_CDA1620034.bin_000000_0000_R3B01, HL1_CDA1620034.img_000000_0000_R3B01) are these correct? and if so, how can I update my P800.
Normally, i'd go to a shop (smarnet, semicon, etc.), but right now, I'm in Malaysia and it's quite expensive to have it done here.
