just got my k850i back from repair (software)

And they told me that the firmware was really on it's way now. And they where surprised that it wasn't out last week (as they told me last week that it would be)
Let's face it: They don't get their info until late, almost as late as we would know that a new firmware is out by actually downloding it, if you get what i mean.

guys, what do you expect from local services? they don't have personal contact with software development teams and development finalization management. they are far away from this that's why they are saying generalities to customers (like in other mobile manufacturers services) when asked about approximated date of new FW release

i have the k850i on rogers and mine is unbranded. Looks like right now they have a totally different vision offer (they change all the time). Anybody can get the Vision plans and you dont have to get the phones from them since the major source of profit for rogers are the plans and data charges NOT the actual phone. i got my vision deal 4 months ago and they gave me free/unlimited video calling for 3 years, 3 months of free mobile tv and video on demand, 3 months of unlimited data (after the three months its 10mb/month for the 3 years). All of this for 5 dollars extra.
Right now they have the 7 dollars unlimited data plan i think, but doesn't say anything about video calling. correct me if im wrong.
EDIT: one more thing. i remembered when i had my unlimited data for the first 3 months, i did all kinds of crazy stuff like connecting my phone to my laptop and using it as a modem, using Yahoo Go and many other third party apps. Then i heard about those people on the news and how they got $5000++ bills doing the same thing as me and i got all scared, but when my bill came, I wasn't charged extra for anything. BTW it said i used 165mb of data in one month:D

Lol, I actually would have fell for it if it wasn't for Duran...I have heard that it will be the 14th Feb a few times, so there is hope for us. My K850 doesnt work so that sucks probably won't get a replacement until Monday...
