Enjoy,Kryptik.
Hopefully no other colleagues accompanying you on your termly sabbatical; I always find that sooner or later, discussions soon involve 'talking shop'/pedagogic banter, such as the infamous efficency of Bisho administration et al.
Make the most of absorbing the stunning sunsets of that part of the world; sundowner in one hand and perhaps esato on the 6600 in the other...

Welcome boet, nice to have somebody from Cango Country here as well. So, which phone and network are you using? I'm probably popping into Oudtshoorn within the next few days. What does it cost to enter the Caves these days?

@Amawanqa, i agree, last thing i want to hear this week is shoptalk. This place is really relaxing, no gedoef-doef taxi sound systems, no gunshots echoing at night (except possibly my own although the air-rifle i also brought along is barely audible) and best of all, no clock to govern my life. Pure bliss...

I'm still stuck in the office...a certain spokesman from the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Development has still not returned my calls and it seems highly unlikely that he will.

Welcome to Mr Smith, the newest posters to the thread...Tell me how is life in a small town? I can just imagine I'll be hanging out at the video store a lot if I lived in one of those towns along the N1.

BTW, Mr Smith, what network are you on?

Enjoy the weekend...I'm working very hard to get out of the office.

I feel it with you, boet.

Politrix is a dodgy biz... Hope you get sorted out asap. By the way, gentlemen, you are aware tomorrow is National Braai Day?

Although cellular reception here is brilliant, the same cannot be said of radio and television reception. Cool since tv is mind-numbing anyway, Uncool since i'm locked into RSG, with SAfm patchy at best. These mountains are awesome, even if they do hinder reception. Currently watching a lightning storm in the mountains, makes one so aware of the beauty that surrounds us. Have a great weekend, guys.

@all: Anyone here using a windows mobile smartphone?

Hi Brym, I'm using the Jas-Jar. Its one awesome handset, some people don't like it because of its size, well size to me doesn't matter as long as it delivers and lives up to its reputation.
