I don't believe I have. However, when I press the 'C' button no "add new hardware" comes up. So I'm stuck.

Dont take this the wrong way, but you are pressing the "C" button on your phone and not on your keyboard arent you?
*believe it or not thats what I was doin the first time I updated, shocking I know! I feel that shame!*

So how do I manually install this update USP driver?
I added it to my system32/drivers folder but the progress bar still won't do anything after holding the 'C' button down on the update process for longer than 15 seconds.

Nothing, until you don't do the master rester yourself in the prefs menu.

Orange didn't probably release the latest FW yet with their logos and menus. Branded phone users should wait a longer time to update.

Maybe a dumb question, but how can is see if my phone is unbranded?
Well if you have a Vodafone, O2, Orange or whatever network operator and bought your phone at their shop. You'll also probably have menus with different colors and/or logos from the original one.
