Just found a website (UK based) claiming to have the P990 in stock:

its no different to any other phone in that respect (except for the length of time).
we never knew exactly when the K800 was coming available, or the M600, or...
we only ever know when someone reports here that it is physically in stock somewhere, and usually its not long for it to be available in other places too

The reason I ask is that I heard that Expansys don't deal with SE but through a wholesaler; this same wholesaler supplies many online retailers (which would explain why many quote similar delay periods/delivery dates). From a bits of information I think there may be 2 or more wholesalers in the UK dealing with the P990 - now if we could find out where they store them...perhaps a few of us could arrange a raiding party....no just joking
But any information on this subject would be interesting

i asked a guy from alfa (Mumbai, Irla) (alfa is a famous shop for mobile phones in Mumbai) and he said 15th august p990i will be out in Mumbai and the price will start with 40,000 rupees now thats killing man !!

Mobiles release dates have been the curse of the Industry for years... With the retailers feeling the wrath of the unhappy customer due to giving information provided to them in good faith...
I have been out of it for quite a few years but im sure its the same story today as it was back then...

Not sure who will be carrying it but surely 20:20 Logistics must be a contender?!

The phone release date will be THE SAME for ALL european coutries and it will be after 14 of August!Until then NO ONE HAS IT !!WHATEVER they claim!
