is there any way to modify a sony ericsson phone so that the *zero* key is used for space during messaging? I want to text in SE like in a nokia. Bus that's all. Any hope?

no i dont think so atleast in nokia may be it will be possible in symbian but again if u send that smiley to other person it will not be displayed in that msg.
have heard about hacking symbian s60 v3? if not then go to symbian freak. that person is really a genuis.

No, u can't mod ur SE phone in that way.
imho SE texting input method is just excellent and far better & convenient than those nokia ones.

Input method in almost all 3x4 phones is the same, except very very very minor differences.. Say,the space key or the symbols key.

well anywho.
today me went to Abottabad and den came back from Murree side..which was a fun trip..other then the slight hitch..that our camera battery died half way..and there was no way to charge it cuz its a battery pack..not the usual energizer type
but o well..styll got loads of pics..ima post some soon times..im just trying to get them on my comp first..cuz my lappy only has a MS stick pro slot and the camera uses ms duo..so i need the adapter first..and i was gonna post pix of my ipod for "some" ppls' tassalli..but its too bad the battery is dead and the charger is with my uncle whos camera it is in the first place..so till den no pics of my ipod..
